“To run away is to admit defeat. But often, choosing to fight back, to lash out in anger, leads to even greater loss. Sometimes, choosing not to run away is as simple as that, neither attack nor retreat, simply standing strong against the storm and its fury. Eventually, the assaulting hail stops, the winds settle. The storm loses the fury that drives it, and all that remains are the tears…

“So here we are, standing in the aftermath of the tempest , as the rain continues to fall from both of us. All I can do is tell you, ‘Things will get better.’ The tears will stop, and the clouds will part."
